Attractions in Shenandoah, Virginia
We will be talking out many popular attractions in Shenandoah but for now we are just going to focus on 6 of the many beautiful places in the outdoors. Enjoy!
Shenandoah Cascades
This cascade is one of Shenandoah finest. It's tall, skinny, green trees that help make the area more shady and peaceful. The cascades in Shenandoah are 40 feet deep. You can go swimming in the cascades as well. When you swim be careful for large rocks.
Lower Doyles River Falls
This is attraction is located in the National Park of Shenandoah. This place looks very misty, and foggy but if you wanted to hear what a waterfall sounded like then you should go here because as you can see the water is falling like a waterfall. It is called a River Fall because it falls from the river. Trees cover the area and may see logs floating across the water.you
Shenandoah River
The Shenandoah River is the most major river in Virginia. This river is very wide and has lots of trees on the edge of the land next to the water. You can see mountains in the background which makes the view even more beautiful. You can swim min the river in the nice summers. This river is 55.6 miles long (89.5km).
Creek
This is just a creek in the National park that I am guessing people would really enjoy going to and listening to the creek run and run after a peaceful walk through the prairie. There is no specific name for this creek but when you search images in Shenandoah it comes up.My guess is that it is probably located by the river.
Shenandoah Valley
The valley stretches 200 miles across the Blue Ridge and Allegheny mountains. Also it was nicknamed "The Big Valley." Even though it might not look all that big in this picture it must be really big if it is called "The Big Valley." There are mountains in the background like there is is in the background of the river picture so that means that the valley and the river are some what close.
Bed and Breakfast
The bed and breakfast is a place in Shenandoah that is like hotel where you sleep there and eat breakfast there while you have this amazing view of the sun rising in the morning. I love the thought that people don't only enjoy the view but the food as well! I got this picture from list of all of the bed and breakfast's in a helpful website I found.
